K.J., you have been a kindred spirit & sister in arms ever since I read your first book This Too Shall Pass. Your put the ineffable of living in what Susan Sontag spoke of as the βnether worldβ of illness, into beautiful writing. You also captured so many of my own thoughts & reflections on illness, lament, faith, embodiment & encountering God in my 15 year journey of living with disabling ME/CFIDS. Iβve thought a lot on what it means to be broken to be given as bread for a world knee-deep in trauma & tears. Thank you for being that bread sister! And thank you for adding to the needed voices we need to hear from, as the Chronic itβs of illness can bring us in and out of the darkness. Look forward to reading this new one & kudos to the illustratorβ¦.genius design. Grace & Peace, Liz
